Missions Ministry
FBC has a long history of strong involvement in mission work through teaching, giving and going. Missions is taught and emphasized throughout all ages in the church beginning with Mission Friends for preschool age children. GA's, RA's and Acteens is for students, and WMU/Brotherhood is for adults. Each year First Baptist Church has many members involved in mission trips and projects all over the world. In 2005 FBC accepted the Acts 1:8 Challenge to greater serve in local, state, national and world missions. Stay tuned through church news for mission opportunities through prayer, giving or going. We are pleased to announce that CJ and Julie Johnson have returned serving in Bangladesh during the month of February.
Roger Swan has just returned from serving in Malaysia.
Hunter Beasley has returned from Serving in Peru.
Thomas Gray has returned from serving in Turkey.
Chris Herrin has returned from serving in China.

Kimberly Webb has returned from serving a year in India. Beverly Webb has returned from serving in Uruguay during the month of March. Our senior high students have returned from traveling to Ecuador to serve through building, teaching, and ministering to those in the city of Patate.
