Before you amble off to the variety of options on our site, take a moment and scan the different ministries and the opportunities that appear here.  Since "menu" is a most common computer word, let's take full advantage of that word.  We might use this homepage like a restaurant menu.  You will find the "appetizers" on this page.  However, you can find "a la carte" items, such as youth, children, senior adults, education, and music on here, if you have a specific interest.  The "entree" will appear on the pastor's page, and it will probably direct your attention to other items in the menu.

Finally, you may want to skip the main meal and go "straight to dessert."  Well, send us your ideas through the "twitter" account on the bottom right portion of this page. You see, your participation and interest is the "piece-de-resistance" in this entire enterprise.  So, enjoy your journey, it was planned with you in mind.

A variety of classes offered to help nurture and develop your Christian faith.

Youth Choir "CHI-RO"...5:00 p.m

The choir sings a mixture of contemporary music and praise songs to occasionally sing during the Sunday services.

Bible Buddies...5:00 p.m.

For children in 1st through 3rd grades. Children play games and enjoy many other activities as they learn about the Bible, the books of the Bible, and different scriptures.

Bible Drill...5:00 p.m.

For children in 4th through 6th grades. Children learn different scriptures, key passages, books of the Bible, and other important facts from God's Word. The children compete with others at a church level, associational level, and state level.

His Kids...3:00 p.m.

After school program for children in 1st through 6th grade. The children are led in a variety of games, activities and Bible story time. The children also have a time to do homework and receive specialized tutoring. A small fee is charged for this program to help cover snack costs. His Kids meets in the gym.

Youth Bible Drill...5:00 p.m.

For students in 7th through 12th grades. Students learn different scriptures, key passages, books of the Bible, and other important facts from God's Word. The students compete with others at a church level, associational level, and state level.

Family Night Supper...4:45 p.m.

A great time of fellowship and good food.

At 5:45p.m. the children are escorted to their choir rooms for choir.

1)  Music Makers I – for K5 through 1st grade

Rehearsals are on the second floor of the education building.

2)  Music Makers II – for 2nd through 3rd grades

Rehearsals are on the second floor of the education building.

3)  Young Musicians – for 4th through 6th grades

Rehearsals are in the music suite.

Crossroads (Youth)...6:00 p.m.

For students in 7th through 12th grades.

          An exciting and energetic time of fellowship, 

music, games, and a Biblical challenge taught by CJ Johnson.

Women's Prison Ministry...6:00 p.m.-7:00p.m.

A group of women lead a Bible study to women inmates at the Marion County Correction Institute. If you would like to help in this ministry, contact Mary Herrington at marysherrington@gmail.com

Prayer Meeting...6:00 p.m.

A time of prayer for specific needs and requests, singing, and a devotion led by Dr. Barnes.

Sanctuary Choir Rehearsal...6:45 p.m.

Join the adult choir in the choir suite as they prepare for upcoming services and musicals.
