A DISCIPLE’S DECLARATIONS AT THE “PASTOR’S PEN”

                ...on Sunday evening.  Thank you in advance for your interest in the work and ministry of FBC, Columbia.

                WE WANT YOU TO PICK UP a copy of the Summer Edition “Reminder” this Sunday morning.  Copies will be available for the next three weeks, and this edition includes all our summer activities.  As you know, schedules change during this season, and we don’t want you to be uninformed and to miss anything.  As you exit the sanctuary this Sunday, pick one up.

                SCHOOL IS CLOSING DOWN.  Some schools in our area are already enjoying summer vacation, while others are headed to the end in the next few days. 

                At the beginning of school we engage in a time of “prayerwalking,” and we meet and go to every school in our area and pray for the coming year.  With the ending of the school year, let’s remember to praise God for His blessings through the year.  This may have been a great year for you, or it may have been filled with challenges, but now that it is ending, we can thank Him for His presence all the way.

                Thank you, teachers and administrators, for all the work you did to make the 2011-12 school year successful.  May God’s blessings be yours.
