What are D-Groups?
D-Groups at FBC Columbia are small discipleship groups designed to help believers grow in their faith, develop Christlike character, and share the hope of the gospel with others. These groups typically consist of 3-6 individuals who meet regularly for prayer, Bible study, and intentional accountability. We offer both men’s and women’s groups, creating spaces for personal growth and meaningful relationships centered on Christ.
Why D-Groups?
Discipleship is at the heart of Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations. While our Connect Groups provide a great foundation for teaching God’s Word and building community, D-Groups foster the deeper accountability and close relationships necessary for spiritual growth. Whether you’re new to our church or have been here for years, D-Groups offer an opportunity to grow in faith and live out God’s calling in a more intentional way.
How Can I Connect with a D-Group?
There are two ways to join a D-Group at FBC Columbia. Some groups form organically as friends or church members come together to grow deeper in their faith. Others are organized through the church, with new groups launching at the start of each semester. These groups are flexible, meeting on various days and times to accommodate different schedules.
